Publisher’s pictorial wraps (rubbing to wrappers, issue 3 partially disbound along front hinge). A literary magazine, self-published by Jon and “Gypsy Lou” Webb, that is generally credited with bringing the works of Charles Bukowski to national attention; in addition to featuring his poetry in their magazine the Webbs also published Bukowski’s first two major publications; Bukowski is also featured on the front cover of the third issue as “Outsider of the Year.” Other poets featured within the magazine’s pages include William S. Burroughs, Langston Hughes, Michael McClure, and Henry Miller.
