(Some marginal browning). Original leather portfolio gilt, brass clasps (extremes significantly worn, spine reinforced with tape, upper cover dried and cracked, as is; contents generally fine). LIMITED EDITION, number 212 of 500 copies SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. Oakley was an early student of Howard Pyle’s Brandywine School. In 1902, Oakley was commissioned to paint a series of murals in the new Pennsylvania State Capitol Building.
