Gouache on board poster illustration for the equestrienne Miss Arline and her horse Kiddo, depicting their hot air balloon ascension accompanied by “a dazzling display of pyrotechnics.” 16 x 12” (image); 18 ½ x 18” (board). Ink notation on verso initialed “CPF” (probably Charles P. “Chappie” Fox”) that this illustration was done for Erie Litho. Chipping to board edges not affecting image.
