Circus Menagerie Motorized Diorama. Scale model of a circus menagerie tent, featuring dozens of animals that made up the spectacle of a three-ring circus at the dawn of the twentieth century, and including elephants, zebras, four giraffes, two moose, and a plethora of onlookers, as well as two miniature circus wagons on display. All on exhibit in a cut-away miniature canvas circus tent, mounted to a wooden base, and carved in exacting detail. Approximately 47” x 18”. A featured element of the Museum of Science of Industry’s circus exhibit for nearly one-half century. Third party transportation required
