Circus Drum Major/Ringmaster Statue. Circa 1940. Oversize papier-mache figure, said to be from the Danbury Fair, being a circus drum major or ringmaster clad in a bright red costume with black knee boots and a marching baton in one hand (with slight damage), a large red and gilt hat atop his head, with both arms extended. Part of the extensive display at the Museum of Science of Industry of Chicago’s circus exhibit. 72 x 66 x 48”. Third party transportation required.
