Half calf gilt, 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, leather lettering–pieces gilt, fleur–de–lis gilt centerpieces in compartments, top edges gilt (few tiny spots of rubbing to boards). Provenance: Neva and Guy Littell (leather gilt label), a distinguished Americana collector whose collection sold en bloc at Parke–Bernet Galleries on 5 February 1945.
