Modern red levant, raised bands, gilt–lettering in second compartment, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles, gilt–stamp signed by Honnelaitre; morocco–edged slipcase. Provenance: Raymond Oliver (morocco booklabel). FIRST EDITION of this rare work on daily life in Paris in the 17th century in the form of a cheerful poem.
