Ghent: C. Annoot–Braeckman for the editor, 1860. 12 parts in one volume, tall 8vo. Half–title, 48 hand–colored lithographs, each under tissue–guard (occasional light spotting to plates). Contemporary quarter green sheep gilt (spine gently sunned, few spots of surface wear to boards). FIRST EDITION of Volume 13, originally published in monthly parts and bound into 13 volumes between 1848 and 1860, with each issue containing four plates. “The work is one of the rarest and greatest of the nineteenth-century camellia iconographies. Nissen BBI 2056; Great Flower Books, p. 85.
