Publisher’s printed wrappers, with the famous portrait of Marilyn Monroe by Philippe Halsman on the front wrapper (some edge wear, rubbing, minor creasing and a few small ink marks; some toning to interior of magazine). With the printed address label of “Mr. H A Roberts” affixed to the lower left corner of the front wrapper. This issue marks the first appearance of Marilyn Monroe in Life Magazine (she appeared on the cover six times) and is one of the most famous covers of this magazine.
