[Brüggen am Niederrhein, 1939-1940]. 129 original black and white photos (and several postcards) mounted (with mounting corners) onto leaves with tissue guards. Photos are various 24mo to 12mo sizes (70 x 46 mm to 120 x 165 mm; mounts are 195 x 285 mm). Several leaves with contemporary ink hand-written captions. Original string-bound album bound in imitation dark brown leather, stamped in silver on front (“Meine Dienstzeit”); some wear to album, occasional wear or soiling to mount leaves and photos, some photos a bit faded, a small numeric sticker on the first leaf.
