Handbills and flyers advertising personal appearances by Senator Robert F. Kennedy in the Los Angeles area during the 1968 presidential campaign. Largest 14 x 9”. Old folds. Mere minutes after delivering a rousing speech following his victory over Eugene McCarthy in the California primary on 4 June 1968, Robert F. Kennedy was shot and fatally wounded by an assassin while shaking hands with supporters in the kitchen area of the Ambassador Hotel. Provenance: Bo Overlock.
