MAX, Peter (German-American, b. 1937). Original drawing of dandelion seeds. 1971. Marker drawing on brown paper. A few tape-mark “ghosts” at margins. Inscribed by Max on upper corners: “30 Deman [?] Peter Max 12:36 PM Nov. 12, ’71 on way to UPI interview lunch city club” and “Dallas 7“. Visible area: 13 x 17”. Matted, framed, and glazed (frame size: 22 ½ x 25”). Some wear to frame, matte is dampstained (though not apparently affecting drawing). Not examined out of frame.
