HOUDINI, Harry (1874-1926). Typed Note Signed by Houdini. Baltimore: Nov. 13, 1925. 1 4to page on plain white paper (mild toning, soiling, rubbing, one horizontal and two vertical creases). Addressed: “Dear Lohrey:-“ Written to Carl S. Lohrey, who built magical apparatus for Houdini and others: “I think you have the wrong slant about those clocks. All you would have to do is to have a push catch and the clocks would fall back. Have forgotten the full idea but if you send it to me I think I can have it finished around the show or give it to Schlosser to make. Please give me the full effect as I told it to you.” Visible size: 10 x 8”. Matted, framed and glazed, with a Houdini memorial stamp from 1951 (frame size: 22 ½ x 18 ½”). Minor rubbing to frame.
