T. Nelson Downs style Coin Ladder. Florida: Paul Lembo, ca. 2000. At the magician’s command coins placed in the hat resting on the top of the ladder penetrate the crown and cascade down the front, bouncing back and forth between the chromed pegs on its face, falling into a glass below. Height 33”. Good condition. Patterned after the ladder used by T. Nelson Downs and described in his 1909 classic, The Art of Magic and used by the builder in his own performances.
