E Anheuser bottle. St. Louis Mo: E Anheuser & Co., [ca. 1870s-1880s]. Brown frosted, hand-blown glass bottle embossed with “E Anheuser & Co St Louis Mo” and with the “H” monogram on the bottom. With the characteristic “blob-top”. Approximately 11 ¾” high. Some mild rubbing, wear. A near fine example of this pre-Anheuser-Busch bottle.
