Scrimshaw whale tooth with whaling scene. “Whaling Lat. 51 57 N Long 160 15 E.” With a hand-carved image of a harpooner harpooning a whale from his longboat with additional crewmembers aboard. Approximately 5” long. Minor soiling, not affecting the image. A near fine example.
