Featured effects include the Star Spangled Banner, “a magnificent national illusion,” the Egg Bag, the Mango Tree, and the aforementioned bottle from which will be produced “one hundred different kinds of liquors.” 23 . x 8 7/8?. This is not a bill advertising Alexander Heimburger, but one of his many imitators. The original Herr Alexander left America in 1847 and by the time this bill was printed, was deep in South America on an extended tour.
