FRANKLIN, Aretha (1942-2018). Signed contract page. April 1, 1986. One quarto typed page on plain white paper, signed by Franklin in blue ballpoint pen. Approximately 11 x 8 ½”. Corners creased, upper left corner with staple holes, 1 vertical and 2 horizontal creases, some marginal toning, wear, a few short tears, and small chips. Date is handwritten in an unknown hand. Very good. This page came from an ad agency that the consignor worked for in the 1980s. Franklin was one of the best-selling artists in the world, with such hits as “Respect,” “Chain of Fools,” “Think,” and many more. Provenance: The Bo Overlock Collection.
