HAVENS, Richie (b. 1941-2013). “Richie Havens David Steinberg” concert poster. Baltimore: Tree Frog Productions, 1971. Poster on cardstock for a concert by singer and guitarist Havens and comedian Steinberg (b. 1942). With artwork of a top hat-wearing gent, with a similarly dressed frog on a leash. Tree Frog Productions was an assemblage of amateur promoters which was active for about 16 months outside of Baltimore. They staged concerts as well as theatrical performances. Approximately 22 x 34”. One marginal tear at left margin, tape repair to verso at lower right corner, some rubbing, mild soiling, creasing. Provenance: The Bo Overlock Collection. Unbacked. A-/B+.
