Los Angeles and New York: Mattel, Inc., and Louis Marx & Co., ca. 1950s. 2 Mattel “Fanner 50” gun sets (“Bullet-Loading Fanner-50” and “Fanner-50”) with original boxes. One box and gun set has 8 toy bullets (bullets in later packaging) and original instructions; the other toy gun is still attached to its box. Some wear, soiling, a few box joints splitting into larger set; the other gun and box set is in superb condition. [Together with:]. “The Blastaway 50 Shot Repeater Machine Gun” by Louis Marx. With original box (gun is detached from box). Some rubbing, soiling to gun, gun is lacking its handle (“Lanyard Pull Action” trigger is still present and appears to be functional). Some wear, soiling to box. Overall, a good group.
