Hand-carved bar sign (“Sherlock’s”). [Oklahoma City [?], ca. 1970s]. A handsome carved wooden bar sign with a profile of Holmes with pipe and magnifying glass, and the initial “S” of “Sherlock’s” is in the shape of a meerschaum pipe. The letters are finished in a light gold color. Approximately 23 x 36”; 584 x 914 mm. Minor rubbing, lacking 3 (out of 4) wood plugs. Chain on back for hanging.
