Poker Dice and Dice Cup in Custom Leather Box. [Circa 1880s]. Approximately 3 x 5 ½ x 4 ¼”. Wooden box, covered with dark black leather; metal clasp; yellow satin lined interior. “Poker Dice” is stamped in gilt letters on top of box. Poker dice, two sets of celluloid dice; Five dice in each set for a total of ten dice. Dice Cup in off white/yellowish colored celluloid. Faintly stamped in purple ink on bottom of cup (exterior): “Patented / Oct. 21st / 1884”. Brown felt lined interior of cup. Box is worn, dice and cup are mildly rubbed. An excellent set.
