Second printing, PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR: “For Taylor, In case we ran out of material for arguments, from Aptheker”. [With:] a copy of the FIRST EDITION issued as a thesis in original wrappers (spine and extremities sunned, ownership inscription on upper cover).

Both scarce editions, and the first on the subject, fully documenting the study of slave revolts in the United States, authored by the Communist historian and close friend of W.E.B. Dubois.
