Original gilt lettered dark gray-blue buckram, top edge gilt (faint stain on upper cover, spine panel splitting and fraying at rear, ends a bit worn, some browning at lower margin at beginning, offsetting from a newspaper clipping on the list of subscriber’s entry, front hinge starting). Provenance: Charles J. de Bernard (original presentation bookplate from The Commercial Club).
