(Light marginal stain to first several leaves, few inked notations to errata leaf, early inked library number on title). Provenance: George Anderson (early ownership signature on half-title). Full contemporary paneled calf rebacked (corners repaired, renewed endpapers).
FIRST EDITION of Scarburgh’s (1616-1694) handsomely printed translation, published from his manuscript by his son.
