Ngor sends his love and “hopes one day soon, my country Cambodia will be free and at peace again, then I’ll go back home”. Ngor is best remembered for winning the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1985 for his debut performance in the 1984 film The Killing Fields becoming the first and only man of Asian descent to ever win the award.
