Divination Box. Wien: S. Klingl, [ca. 1920s]. A beautiful example of a double divination box, with Klingl’s hallmark at the bottom of the larger box. Two nested polished wooden boxes with hinged lids (the larger is approximately 7 x 3 ½ x 2”), the interior containing wooden numbered cubes. The order of the cubes is instantly determined by the performer despite the locked and nested condition of the containers. With metal handle and locks. Some light soiling to lid of larger box, else fine. Previously from the collection of Burt Speber. See Albo’s Classic Magic series, Vol. V., p. 226.
