Wesley Lawrence Willis was an American singer-songwriter and artist from Chicago. He was a visual artist long before his forays into music producing hundreds of intricate, unusual, colored ink-pen drawings, most of them of Chicago streetscapes and CTA buses. Willis' work has been shown at Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, and The MCA, among many other museums and galleries. Paper toned. Fading. Upper right corner dogeared with pinhole. Tear of ¼” right edge. Edges and corners worn. Some accretions and staining.
