ROBERTSON, “Prophet” Royal (American, 1930-1997). Shock. Multi-color marker, tempera paint on posterboard, on both sides (one side of poster has a black enamel painted border). 28 x 22”. Nail-holes at corners, some wear, surface dirt. Robertson was a prominent Outsider artist who employed biblical and extra-terrestrial themes in his artwork, just as in this item.
