Edition 55/210. Giuseppe Santomaso studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. In 1939 he had his first solo exhibition at the Galerie Rive Gauche in Paris. He was a founding member of the antifascist artists’ organization Nuova Secessione Artistica Italiana–Fronte Nuovo delle Arti. His work is in the collection of the Guggenheim, New York. Paper has light abrasions upper right quadrant. Soft crease in margin into image upper center. 1” zigzag crease in blue triangle near left edge. Localized marks in margins.
