FIRST EDITION. “According to 1 1972 exchange of letters between the author and Mrs. Paul Smith of the Old Book Corner, Chapel Hill, N.C., this edition…was published in 1905 in an edition of 500 copies” (OCLC) but some believe only 100-200 copies were printed for family and friends. One of Rutledge’s scarcest titles, and according to the author’s correspondence, his first book.
