Manipulator. New Haven: Petrie and Lewis, ca. 1930. Holdout device worn on the performer’s arm allows him to manipulate cards without sleight-of-hand. Lazy tong-style device, length 10 ½” (extended). Hallmarked. Near fine. RARE; an early version of this utility device. Later (and more common) incarnations were constructed without the Jacob’s Ladder mechanism.
