Ford Vending Machine Corp. 1 Cent Gumball Vendor with Original Globe. East Aurora, N.Y.: Ford Vending Machine Corp, ca. 1910s-1920s. Serial #20363. Pressed steel base. Red paint quite worn, soiled, decals worn away. Both globe and base have the controversial “Ford” logo made to resemble that of the logo of the Ford Motor Company (Ford Vending Machine was later compelled to change their logo due to legal threats from Ford Motor Company). Mechanism a bit stiff, but works. Good. Rare.
