HOLZMAN, Gerry. London Snuff Shop Trade Figure. 1971. Carved and painted wooden countertop advertising figure, lettered “Try A Pinch” on base. Incised signature and date. 19 ¾ x 4 ¾ x 4 ¼”. This figure was carved by the master wood-carver early in his professional career and was displayed at Smith’s Snuff Shop in London.
