H.C. Evans Gaffed Traveling Chicago Spindle Wheel. Chicago: H.C. Evans & Co., ca. 1900s. Black carrying case with hand-made wheel with spinner (and celluloid indicator) on a plain felt base. Spinner is removable for travel. Lid is removable. Spinning area has helix-shaped pieces. Closed case 23 x 23 x 3 ½”. Some wear, soiling, felt worn at corners. Very good.
