EXCEEDINGLY RARE FIRST EDITION containing 17 brief items concerning the Franklin search. A true rarity with only a few copies ever coming to auction and once in the past century. An expanded second edition appeared in 1852, and although rare, it is seen more frequently at auction than this 1851 first edition. Not in Arctic Bib. (second edition only). Sabin 44251.
