Full contemporary dark brown straight-grain morocco, boards decoratively paneled in blind (spine nearly entirely perished, rear board loose, binding worn, soiled, front hinge with later tape repair, some occasional wear, soiling in text, a few leaves loose. This charming account chronicles the travels of the Britton family (father and writer John, wife Kitty, and children Lizzie, Aline, Ethel, Diddy, and Dick) through continental destinations, some of which were before they became tourist destinations.
