Printed title-page with specimens forming a wreath and the initials cut out and laid, most likely taken from one of Flintoft’s works. 175 LEAVES OF SPECIMENS, many with more than one specimen, each captioned in manuscript; 8pp. index. Half contemporary dark olive morocco gilt. With a 2pp. autograph note in the same hand pertaining to mosses with a mention of Sir Jackson Hooker.
