U.S. Navy recruiting poster depicting battleship firing all guns, above a slogan reading: “Speed, accuracy and concentration are required of EVERY MEMBER of a battleship crew when guns are fired.” The artist, a noted naval artist, perished when the transport ship he was traveling in was torpedoed in the Atlantic. 40 x 28”. Unbacked. Fold lines, three-inch sealed tear at top margin and some edge wear. All unbacked. Condition varies; generally B/C+.
