The second photo in this lot shows a picture of the crowd mural. The image pictured is the male head in the center. Some edgewear, multiple pin-holes at corners, one tear at upper margin (about 4” long) with tape repair on verso. Unframed. Can be rolled. With the label of “The City Library Association, Springfield Museum of Fine Arts” on verso, as well as their embossed stamp at the lower right corner. Known primarily for his woodcuts and murals, these following works are direct studies for the murals at the City Library in Springfield, Massachusetts. Cook produced murals and other artworks for public buildings nationwide. Unframed. Can be rolled. Good condiition.
