Printed in double column, text in both Latin and Greek. Title–page printed in red and black, engraved printer’s device, woodcut head–pieces and initials. Full contemporary vellum, contemporary hand–titled spine (old spine labels, some tiny wormholes and soiling to covers). Provenance: Thomas Day Seymour (18489–1907), bookplate of the notable American classical scholar and professor of Greek at Yale University; L.J. Riickert (booklabel); American institutional rubberstamp on front pastedown and an embossed stamp on title. Later edition.
