8vo. 12 plates; 8pp. publisher’s ads at end. Original gilt-stamped red cloth (spine sunned, also slightly skewed, hinges reinforced). Provenance: Richard Adams (1920-2016), his bookplate. Adams was an English novelist best-known for his work, Watership Down (1972), which won the annual Carnegie Medal and the Guardian Prize for best fiction written for children or young adults.
