DOYLE THANKS KERNAHAN FOR HIS WEDDING GIFT. On 18 September 1907, Doyle and his second wife, Jean Elizabeth Leckie, said their vows at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster. Although an intimate wedding with only about thirty guests, the reception at Hotel Metropole that followed the ceremony saw most of England’s literary celebrities present. -- [With:] 2 ALS (“A Conan Doyle”) and 1 ALS (probably in the hand of his secretary) to Miss Francis Smith with original envelope. -- Together, handsomely framed and matted, double glazed, overall 18 x 16”.
