Black and white photos of Doyle with captions on paper affixed to versos and with press markings. Photos approximately 8 x 6” and a bit smaller. Some general wear, creasing, pin-holes. The four photos of Doyle include: Doyle, Lady Doyle, William J. Burns (head of the U. S. Secret Service) and Doyle’s children posing aboard a ship in New York Harbor; Doyle posing for a bust sculpture as done by sculptor, J. Davidson; Doyle posing with child actor Jackie Coogan, but the caption states that Doyle intends to contact the recently deceased Field Marshal Haig; a portrait of Doyle with a caption about his being bedridden prior to his death (stapled to the verso of this photo is a newspaper obituary clipping using this photo, from International Newsreel Photo - captioned “In Spirit World”).
