Original light brown cloth over beveled boards, boards and spine stamped in brown with dinosaur footprints, spine and upper cover lettered in gilt, gilt top edge, illustrated endleaves (some minor spotting to rear cover, front joint slightly cracked at title, else fine); ORIGINAL DUST JACKET with matching dinosaur footprint design as covers (spine panel gently soiled, some light chipping at extreme ends and corners).

FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, SECOND ISSUE, LARGE PAPER EDITION (“New Edition”). In the RARE ORIGINAL DUST JACKET, being the first copy to ever appear at auction. Green & Gibson, A37d (they did not see a copy in dust jacket).
