FERRANDIZ, Juan (Barcelona, 1907-1997). A group of 3 hand-painted sculptures of “The Little Inspector”. [Ca. 1977]. Hand-painted and carved wooden sculptures of a child examining a bird at his feet through his magnifying glass; a kitten is perched on his shoulder, and he is wearing a deerstalker cap and Inverness cape. One is approximately 6” high, and two are approximately 3” high. Sold with two postcards with similar themed children looking at various things through magnifying glasses.
