Doyle and Gillette are featured on this album, along with P. T. Barnum, King George V, Florence Nightingale, Thomas Edison, Amelia Earhart, and more. “…Our discussion begins with the Literary Agent [Doyle] himself, whose voice can be heard on a 78 rpm record put out by the Gramophone Company of London and titled Conan Doyle Speaking. Issued in 1930, it used as its source the soundtrack from a Fox Movietone interview filmed the year before.
