A rare post-WWII edition from an Allied-occupied territory of Germany. Rasch-Nägele was a well-known Stuttgart artist and book illustrator. Weaver, p. 122. -- An advertisement from Dodgson regarding the misprinted 1893 edition of “Through the Looking-Glass”. Christmas, 1893. 1-page, 8vo. -- Eight or Nine Wise Words about Letter-Writing. Oxford: Emberlin and Son, 1890. 32mo. Includes: 32pp. booklet, color illustrated stamp case with detachable covers and with matching stamp-holder, original printed envelope. FIRST EDITION (second edition of stamp-holder). “A small but excellent work, full of sound sense and humour” (Williams-Madan-Green-Crutch 223.1).
