Cones of Satan. Paris: Caroly, ca. 1900. Early version of Germain’s Water Jars and purportedly one of Caroly’s best-selling items, although very few sets survive today. Allows the magician to produce water from seemingly empty cones. A rare, early conjuring prop, the first we have encountered. Set of 11 hand-painted, metal cones finished in red, green and gold. Together with folding stand embellished with gold fleur-de-lises. Cones 10” tall. Display stand 40 ½” long. With usual wear. very good.
