The Pencil without a Middle. Thailand: The Magic Wagon, 2000s. The center of a pencil placed into the finely made wooden cabinet apparently vanishes when the center of the box is lifted; a clear view through the cabinet reveals that the middle of the writing instrument is gone. The pencil can be pulled back and forth in this state. The process is reversed and the pencil is removed. Well made cabinet measures 5 x 4 x 3 ½”. Fine.
